Best Launch of the Year’ by the 2020 Drinks Business Awards - SJP X INVIVO

Sarah Jessica Parker’s wine collaboration with Kiwi winery Invivo & Co, Invivo X, SJP, has been awarded ‘Best Launch of the Year’ at the 2020 Drinks Business Awards which are regarded as one of  the most authoritative, international drinks awards. Sarah Jessica filmed her acceptance speech in New York, while Invivo Co-Founders Tim Lightbourne and Rob Cameron filmed theirs in Auckland, dressed in black-tie standing atop a New Zealand government-style podium.


Invivo X, SJP Sauvignon Blanc from Marlborough, New Zealand,  launched in September 2019 and in the ensuing year has been awarded six gold medals at international wine competitions. Sarah Jessica Parker has been involved from blending the wine, to designing the label and the merchandise. With thousands of alcohol brands launching every year, the win for Invivo X, SJP launch is a great achievement. “Our judges were impressed by this slick and professional campaign, perfectly pitched at the target audience’” said Lucy Shaw, Editor, The Drinks Business. “Described as ‘far and away the standout campaign within its category’, they praised the level of commitment from those involved in the brand, which, while new, has a clearly defined long-term vision” she added.

Since the launch the Sauvignon Blanc has sold over 500,000 bottles worldwide. It is available in the US, Canada, United Kingdom, Ireland, New Zealand, Taiwan, Greece, Ukraine, Cyprus, Japan, France and in Australia. This summer, Invivo X, SJP launched a Rosé from the South of France and the new 2020 vintage of Sauvignon Blanc will be available this coming winter.

The SJP/Invivio range of wines are distributed in Ireland by Barry & Fitzwilliam.
