SommiT 2026 – Drogheda

The beautiful Boyne Valley. Its coastline, fields and tributaries carry the farming traditions of generations. How exciting that today there is a new tradition taking root. Vineyards!  Local wine has entered the conversation. Identity takes time to evolve; culture takes time to mature.

BUT, in the meantime, what better way to inspire that now than a fresh appreciation toward wine and food together?!  That is what is planned for SommiT 2026, MAY 10-11-12 The event this year comes from the heart of the Boyne Valley, Drogheda.

Grapes of Note this year are Albariño and Sangiovese.

The organisers look forward to introducing you to the first winery in County Louth Fairy Trees.
