Pembroke Wines Masterclass on Priorat Terroir

Pembroke Wines is delighted to welcome Christopher Cannan from Clos Figueras in Priorat for a tasting and masterclass on the famous wines of this estate.
Clos Figueras is regarded as a 'sleeping tiger' in the region of Priorat. According to Andrew Jefford, it is one of the top 10 estates in Priorat, having initally had winemaking and viticultural inputs from René Barbier (Clos Mogador), Alvaro Palacios (Finca Dofi) and Alain Graillot (Domaine Alain Graillot).
The tasting will encompass a brief historic look at vintages of the great Clos Figueras, as well as an exploration of Font de la Figuera, the second wine of this estate.
Spanish canapé including Jamon Iberico, Cantabrian anchovies, and delicious machego cheese will be provided by Redmond Fine Foods.
