Wine Australia will be offering a Masterclass entitied ‘Foundations of Australian Wine’, the perfect introduction.  If you would like to learn more about wine from Australia then this overview covers their diverse climate and regions, the  history of winemaking in Australia, as well as  detailed information about the classic and emerging wines.

The Masterclass will be presented by well-known Sommelier Lisa O’Doherty who has been working  as the chief sommelier for the prestigious 5 Star Kidare Hotel & Country Club Resort for a number of years.  Lisa is also a well-know wine educator.

The Masterclass will take place in the Australian Embassy in St Stephen’s Green, Dublin 2. From 12noon-2pm.  As there are only a limited number of places available, it will be by invitation only.
