Catalunya/Catalonia (in English)  is one of Spain’s most interesting wine regions.  From a winemaking perspective it has leapt from the middle ages to the 21^st century in less than 30 years.  French influence has always been strong in Catalonia and many French grape varieties were planted here in experimental partnership with the native grapes. It is also the home of Cava the 2^nd most popular  bottle fermented sparkling wine appellation in the world.  The most important DO’s include Penedes, DOCa Priorat, Costers del Segre, Tarragona and Montsant.

Boutique Wines will be holding a tasting featuring six producers from these key regions.  The tasting will take place on Monday 26^th September, 2022 at the Fumbally Stables, Fumbally Lane, The Liberties, D08 CP27.
