Radici was founded by Veronica Falcone as a communication and events company to promote Italian wine in Ireland. Veronica works by utilising social media to organise social business events aimed at both the trade and consumer. The first Radici Business Supper Club will take place in February and is open to trade guests only. Those invited will include key trade sectors including, importers, on and off trade and the wine and food press. All are offered the opportunity to discover an Italian winery; the first dinner will feature the wines of Poderi Moretti from Piemonte and their wines will be served with a selection of traditional dishes from Piedmont.

The event will take place on Tuesday 21st February, 2023 at 19:00 in Fusciardi's Restaurant, 10 Capel Street D01 PW32. Those attending will enjoy a selection of traditional dishes from Piedmont paired with wines from Poderi Moretti.

The Poderi Moretti winery is based in Piedmonte where the family have been producing wine since 1630. Today the family business is run by Francesco Moretti, who works with his daughter Alessandra and his son Riccardo, who is the winemaker.

The vineyards are located in the district of Occhetti in Monteu Roero that historically belong to the Moretti and Occhetti families.  Their portfolio includes wines from the DOCG Barolo, DOCG Roero Arneis and DOC Langhe Barbera.

The wines will be presented by Alessandra Moretti, who graduated from the famous Alba School of Oenology and a Master’s degree in business management in Turin.  Alessandra will present her wines and will be available to answer questions. For the last  three years Alessandra has been working full time as the  export manager.  Her role is to help the company to expand its presence in new markets.  Poderi Moretti are currently seeking representation on the Irish market.
