Embark on a journey through the world of Moldovan wines in Dublin. The consumer tasting is being organised by the Embassy of the Republic of Moldova to Ireland in association with „Winie of Moldova,” the organisation dedicated to promoting Moldovan wines globally.  This wine tasting event promises to be an interesting exploration into the rich heritage, exceptional quality, and remarkable diversity of Moldovan wines. With a winemaking legacy of over 5,000 years, wine production in Moldova consists of 130,000 hectares of vineyards spanning three wine regions: Valul lui Traian, Stefan Voda, and Codru.

In recent years Moldova has garnered significant acclaim for its wines, with numerous prestigious awards at international competitions such as the Decanter World Wine Awards, Mundus Vini, Concours Mondial du Bruxelles, and the International Wine Challenge.

The tasting will allow those attending to enjoy a diverse selection of Moldovan wines and will showcase their native grape varieties such as Rara Neagră, Feteasca Neagră, Feteasca Regală, and Feteasca Albă, as well as the European noble grapes and Caucasus gems such as Saperavi and Rcațiteli.

The evening is a wonderful opportunity to learn more about Moldovan wine. This exclusive tasting presented by the Embassy of Moldova in Dublin, offers the chance to taste over 50 premier Moldovan wines while gaining insights into the country's progressive sustainable development initiatives and is an immersive celebration of Moldovan wine culture.
