Bibendum has stood at the forefront of the drinks industry for the past 40 years, in 2020 distributor Gilbey's of Ireland officially change their name and became known as Bibendum Ireland.  The company is owned by C&C group. The change to Bibendum Ireland follows the partnership between Gilbey's and Bibendum after C&C’s acquisition of the Matthew Clark and Bibendum businesses in 2018. The new company portfolio combines the established brands distributed by Gilbey's of Ireland with Bibendum's range of premium artisanal wines.    Since the merger and following a series of successful wine tastings held in various locations in Ireland, the company have opened up many new accounts and have seen an increase in wine sales.

As well as some of the top producers which include Ramon Bilbao, CVNE, Laurent Perrier, Bottega, Trimbach, Cape Mentelle, Craggy Range, Chateau Changyu Moser, Quinta do Vallado, Gerard Betrand, Hunter’s, Santa Rita and Doña Paula Estates. and many many more; Bibendum also offers a Fine Wine list consisting of over 300 ever-changing lines, and is updated regularly, so it's worth keeping an eye out for their exciting new wines and small parcel offers.
