Australia and New Zealand Trade Tasting 2026
Wine Australia and New Zealand Winegrowers have
teamed up to run their second trade tasting together in Dublin. The first New
Zealand Winegrowers’ annual trade tasting took place in Dublin in 1997, and
Wine Australia has been active in this market
since 1992.
The event offers Irish trade customers the opportunity to explore the quality and diversity of Australian and New Zealand wine in this exciting collaboration between Wine Australia and New Zealand Winegrowers.
The Aussies and Kiwis are good mates, with lots in common. Fine wine, great food, stunning scenery, the cool Southern Ocean, and their cool Antipodean attitude. Their wines are an expression of their distinctive terroirs and the vibrant communities that craft them. Perfecting traditional techniques and inventing their own ways of doing things, they push the boundaries in the pursuit of the most diverse, thrilling wines in the world.
The event offers both the trade and consumer the opportunity to discover new wines, revisit the classics and meet the makers. Explore more than 300 wines from 70 wineries from both Australia and New Zealand.
The line-up includes regional heroes, new vintages from iconic producers, alternative grape varieties, innovative new-wave styles, and certified organic wines. Sommeliers, on-trade buyers, and independent off-trade buyers who attend the tasting will also have the chance to win a two-week trip to Australia! The entry requirements and more details about the competition are on the Australian Wine website.
The event is also an opportunity for buyers and importers to discover new wineries from both Australia and New Zealand who are seeking distribution on the Irish market.
Wine Trade Fair will run from 12:00 noon to 17:00
